The South Carolina Alcohol and Drug Academy (SCADA) is a partnership between
the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) and Behavioral Health Services Association of South Carolina (BHSA).
With a shared mission to ensure quality behavioral health services are provided, these organizations have created an opportunity for those interested in substance use disorders, prevention, treatment and recovery to come together to learn, network, share ideas, be challenged and grow.
SCADA is for any individual interested in alcohol and other drug issues.
Participation in this event will provide an opportunity for individuals to:
-
learn about the latest research and strategies related to their work,
-
hear from leaders in the field, and
-
develop new ideas, skills and approaches to become more effective and efficient at work.
Who Should Attend
The content offered at the Academy is designed to meet the needs of a diverse participant population. Attendees will have the opportunity for personal and professional growth through plenary sessions, breakout sessions, and informational networking with professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds.
