SCADA's Role & Responsibilities
All sponsors and exhibitors must be approved by the Planning Committee prior to participating in the event. Once your online application form has been received, you will be contacted to confirm your participation.
The SCADA Planning Committee reserve the right, as necessary, to make modifications to the exhibit space to meet the needs of the Fire Marshall or exhibitors.
The SCADA Planning Committee will not knowingly accept organizations, programs or publications that discriminate on the basis of ethnic group, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age and/or disability.
The SCADA Planning Committee reserves the right to bar or relocate any potential exhibitor or sponsor or require the immediate withdrawal of those that it believes to be injurious to the purposes of this event.
Exhibitor and Sponsor
A confirmation notification, including detailed information for exhibitor set-up hours, where to ship materials, and other pertinent information will be sent via email to the contact person listed on the application approximately two weeks prior to the event
Payment and Cancellation
Payments must be received by Monday, April 12, 2021.
The Planning Committee reserves the right to refuse admission if full payment is not received prior to the event. To receive a full refund, the Planning Committee must receive in writing your cancellation request by
Monday, April 12. 2021.
No refunds will be provided after April 12, 2021
Exhibitors and Sponsors are responsible for their own lodging, transportation, and travel arrangements. For information regarding lodging, please see our "Location" page.
Exhibitor and Sponsor Responsibilities
Additional furniture, draping, accessories, and/or decorations are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor and should be approved in advance by the SCADA Planning Committee. All booth equipment and accessories must follow the standards established by the Fire Marshall.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor and sponsor to see that all materials are delivered to the venue, as well as removed by the specified deadline.
Exhibitors shall be liable for any damage that occurs to property of the venue after occupancy by the vendor that was not previously in the condition before occupancy.
There must be at least one registered Exhibitor present at their assigned space during Exhibit hours.
Exhibitors shall not assign, sublet, or share the whole or any part of the space allotted, or have representatives, products, equipment, signs, or printed materials other than its own in the space allotted without the prior written consent of SCADA. If such consent is given, the Exhibitor shall be liable for and shall assume full responsibility for the conduct, negligence, errors, acts, and omissions of the assignee or sub-licensee and all its representatives.
Indemnification, Liability and Insurance
SCADA is not liable for any loss or damage to the property of exhibitors due to fire, robbery, accidents or any cause whatsoever that may arise from use and occupancy of provided space or building. Exhibitors shall be fully responsible for paying for any and all damages to property owned by Kingston Plantation, its owners or managers which results from any act or omission of Exhibitor.
Exhibitors agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, SCADA Planning Committee members, SC DAODAS, BHSA, and Embassy Suites, its owners, managers, officers or directors, agents, employees, subsidiaries
and affiliates from any damages or charges resulting from Exhibitor’s use of the property.
Exhibitor’s liability shall include all losses, costs, damages, or expenses arising from or out of, or by reason of any accident or bodily injury, or other occurrences to any person or persons, including the Exhibitor, its agents, employees, and business invitees which that from or out of the Exhibitor’s occupancy and use of the exhibition premises, the hotel or any part thereof.
